Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria for 2023-2024 admission cycle for PhD in Biotechnology at SPGS:
- Qualification:
- MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in a relevant field from a HEC-recognized
Higher Education Institution - CGPA:
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or 60% (in the annual system) in the MS/MPhil/equivalent degree from HEC-recognized higher education institution
- Holders of MPhil or an equivalent degree from a HEC-recognized Higher Education Institution with a cGPA between 2.5 – 2.9 may also apply for conditional admission with the requirement to successfully complete additional course(s).
- Subject-specific Test:
- Conducted by Dow University of Health Sciences
- A passing score of a minimum of 60%
- Admission Committee Interview:
- Short listed applicants only
- Submission of a short research proposal in the area of
applicants’ interest
- MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in a relevant field from a HEC-recognized
Fees and Financial information
The following is the Fee structure for the PhD program as of 2023-2024
