About the MPhil in Biochemistry
M.Phil. program in Biochemistry prepares students to acquire a deep and broad knowledge of the principles, methods, and applications of biochemistry and molecular biology. During this program students apply their knowledge to understand the underlying mechanisms of disease, maintain health, and identify potential therapies.
In addition to knowledge, MPhil. program in Biochemistry helps students to develop skills like communication, innovation, critical thinking, research, leadership, collaboration, life-long learning and makes students ethically, socially & professionally responsibility.
This program provides opportunities to excel in a diverse range of research areas through active collaboration on interdisciplinary projects. Some of the research areas our faculty is currently pursuing are computational biology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, dental sciences, endocrine disorders, infertility, metabolic disorders, and neurosciences.
