Research
Firstly as a lecturer in the field of biochemistry, my research interests span a broad range of topics within this dynamic and constantly evolving discipline. I am committed to not only advancing the field through my own research but also cultivating the next generation of biochemists. In the classroom, I strive to inspire students by sharing my enthusiasm for the subject matter and highlighting the real-world applications of biochemical principles. I believe that nurturing students' curiosity and critical thinking skills is essential for fostering the next wave of innovative biochemical research. As I have recently submitted my MPhil thesis, I would like to take this opportunity to share my research interests and future goals. During the course of my MPhil studies, my research has focused on serum biochemical markers of neurological disease (Epilepsy). Through this work, I developed a deep fascination with that Neurotropic factors play a crucial role in promoting the survival of neurons through their chemical signaling mechanisms. It was a case control study. I am eager to continue exploring these research areas in greater depth. I am confident that my passion for this area of study, combined with the skills and experience gained through my MPhil, will allow me to thrive in a doctoral program and beyond.
