The Department of Neurology and Stroke Services at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), in collaboration with Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services, successfully organized a Stroke Awareness Walk on November 7, 2024, at Dow University Hospital (Ojha Campus).
This impactful event drew a large crowd committed to raising awareness about stroke prevention and the importance of timely action to reduce stroke-related disabilities and save lives.
Held under the patronage of Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I, Vice Chancellor of DUHS, and Prof. Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed, Principal of Dow International Medical College (DIMC), the walk underscored the significance of public education on stroke, focusing on early detection and preventive measures. The event saw active participation from senior faculty members, reinforcing the university’s dedication to community health initiatives.
