A successful collaborative session was conducted by the Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases (OICD) and the Department of Pharmacy, Dow University Hospital, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Titled “The Role of Infectious Diseases Pharmacist in Tuberculosis Management,” the session took place on February 13, 2025, and was attended by 25 pharmacy interns. We were honored to have Dr. Khawaja Laeeq Ahmed, National Professional Officer (TB) at WHO Pakistan, join us online to deliver an insightful discussion on Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment. His expertise enriched the session, providing valuable knowledge to all participants.
This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to combating tuberculosis and enhancing patient care. It also reflects Dow University’s dedication to advancing healthcare education and awareness.
