Successful Dermatopathology Academic Session Held at Dow International Medical College
The Department of Dermatology at DIMC conducted a highly successful academic session on Dermatopathology on Friday, May 17th, 2024. The session was organized due to high demand and in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists.
The session was chaired by esteemed professors:
•Prof. Iftikhar Ahmed (Principal, DIMC and Dean of Medicine and Allied Sciences)
•Prof. Jahan Ara Hasan (Pro Vice-Chancellor and MS DUH) Ojha Campus, DUHS
•Prof. Zarnaz Wahid
An engaging lecture series was presented by a distinguished panel of experts:
•Dr. Sadaf Ahmed Asim (HOD DERM DIMC)
•Dr. Rabiya Ghafoor (Assistant Professor, JPMC)
•Dr. Saba Hasan Shamin (Associate Professor, Histopathology, DIMC)
•Prof. Arsalan Ahmed (HOD Histopathology, ZMU)
•Dr. Madiha Sajid (AP Derm, DIMC)
The lectures addressed a wide range of academic queries, with a particular focus on highlighting exam-related diagnostic pearls. Every aspect of the 17th Continuing Medical Education (CME) program was meticulously planned.
