Letter of Interest (LOI) between Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (M&P)

We are delighted to announce the signing of the Letter of Interest (LOI) between Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Pvt) Limited (M&P) for the launch of a Rabies Vaccine in Pakistan. This collaborative endeavor marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to combat the deadly rabies disease.
Dow Institute of Life Sciences (DILs), a distinguished constituent of DUHS, takes pride in spearheading the production of the Rabies Vaccine, named DowRab. With an alarming annual incidence of 2000-5000 rabies cases in the country, the production of DowRab within DUHS facilities is a commendable effort to mitigate the impact of this devastating disease on our population.
Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Pvt) Limited (M&P) will play an important role in the marketing and distribution of DowRab. By partnering with M&P, we aim to address supply and demand issues, as well as alleviate acute shortages of rabies vaccine in the country.
We are confident that this collaboration will not only save lives but also contribute to the overall health infrastructure of Pakistan.
