Dow University of Health Sciences hosted a graduation ceremony on May 18, 2024. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Meritorious Professor Mohammed Saeed Quraishy, T.I., the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of effective leadership in shaping the future. Dr. Sohail Rao, Senior Advisor, Vice Chancellor, Dow University of Health Sciences and Director, Emerging Leadership Academy welcomed the guests and the graduates and provided a brief overview of this innovative program that was for the first time offered to students in Pakistan. Dr. Rao thanked the Vice Chancellor for his unmitigated support in bringing such a novel program to fruition.
Professor Saeed Quraishy highlighted the importance of such a program and encouraged the graduates to practice the skills and tools that have acquired as Servant Leaders. Two graduates selected by their peers also shared their experiences as participants of this program and how it has indelibly transformed their behavior as effective and influential leaders.
The program was moderated by Hadia Sabah, who is also a graduate of this leader program. The ceremony ended with the Vice Chancellor awarding certificates to the graduates and the faculty and staff who played a vital role in the success of this endeavor.
