In a pivotal gathering at DOW UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (DUHS) on 10 December 2025, an elite assembly of thought leaders and innovators convened to deliberate on the strategic implementation of emerging technologies to transform clinical care, education, research, and innovation.
The meeting was presided over by Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I, Vice Chancellor, DUHS, and included Dr. Sana Ullah Khan, Prof. Sohail Rao, Prof. Jahan ara Hassan, Prof Saba Sohail, Prof. Muhammad Yahya Noori, Prof. Nasreen Naz, Mr. Shahzad Ahmed, Mr. Muhammad Babar, Mr. Umair Zafar, and Mr. Khurram Ahmad.
The forum highlighted the critical need to integrate cutting-edge technologies into healthcare systems to address evolving patient needs and to enhance medical education and research infrastructure. With Dr. Khan spearheading the discourse, the discussions underscored the transformative potential of technologies like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and robotics in driving innovative solutions for complex healthcare challenges.
With the recent announcement of the establishment of DOW-APPNA Center for Emerging Technologies at DUHS, the meeting set the stage for collaborative advancements that would position the University as a global leader in healthcare delivery and education, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in patient care, education, research, and innovation.
