Fire Safety Awareness & Fire-fighting Demonstration

Lt. Col. (R) Qaimuddin, Director of Safety, Security, and Administration, organized a series of fire safety awareness lectures and practical fire-fighting demonstrations at Dow International Medical College (DIMC), Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences (DIKIOHS), and Dow University Hospital (DUH). These sessions are part of essential training recommended by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC), designed to equip participants with critical skills in fire prevention and control.

Faculty, students, and staff took part in the lectures, responding to simulated smoke alarms by evacuating buildings and gathering at designated assembly points. Attendees engaged in hands-on training, practicing the use of fire-fighting equipment under expert supervision.
