DUHS recently organized a remarkable event at Muin Auditorium of Dow Medical College to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. Honored to have the Vice Chancellor as our Chief Guest, the program aimed to celebrate our national spirit and achievements.
The ceremony witnessed the enthusiastic participation of esteemed individuals, including Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazli Hussain, Registrar Dr. Ashar Afaq, Principal of Dow Medical College Prof. Saba Sohail, Principal Dow International Medical College Prof. Zeba Haque, Prof. Sumbul Shamim, Prof. Nasreen Naz, Prof. Jahan Ara, former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dow University and Vice Chancellor of SMBBMU Larkana Prof. Nusrat Shah along with Prof. Zarnaz Wahid, Prof. Tariq Farman, Prof. Nawaz Lashari, Ms. Sanam Soomro, Dr. Farhan Vakani, Director of Admissions Dr. Tayyaba Aamir, Director of Planning and Development Muzaffar Ali Shah, Director of Finance Zainul Abidin Shah, Additional Director of Finance Hamid Ali Shah, Additional Director HR Mudassar Ali, Director Marketing Syed Tariq Shahid, Marketing Manager Umair Zafar, along with dedicated teachers, various administrative officers, staff, and a large number of enthusiastic students. Their presence added immense value to the ceremony, making it a memorable occasion for all.
Through his powerful words, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the incredible unity of the Pakistani people, highlighting its ability to empower us for years to come. He reminded us that the sacrifices made by our brave heroes are a debt we must never forget.
Adding to the patriotic ambiance, talented singers Ameer Ali, Ahad Khan, and Maria Saud performed heartwarming national songs. The audience, waving green crescent flags, joined in the chorus of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ with unmatched enthusiasm. Dr. Maryam Batool’s soulful, instrument-free rendition left everyone in awe!
