World Children’s Day with Aghosh Orphanage
On World Children’s Day, the Dow Students’ Global Scholar Community (DSGSC): Health-Related Conferences Society, in collaboration with the Directorate of Global Engagement, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), visited Aghosh Orphanage by Al-Khidmat Foundation Karachi, creating a memorable day dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young lives.
The event embodied the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
-SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
-SDG 4: Quality Education
-SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
From painting kindness on canvases to learning about hygiene and health, and a medical camp providing care to 100 children. The day was filled with laughter, learning, and love. Goodie bags of snacks and stationery added to the joy, leaving the kids with bright smiles and beautiful memories.
This collaborative effort highlighted the shared commitment of DUHS, Al-Khidmat Karachi, and all contributors toward building a brighter future for vulnerable children, empowering them with health, education, and hope.
