On November 16, 2024, Dow University Hospital, under the leadership of the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department, celebrated World Quality Day with the theme “From Compliance to Performance.”
The day began with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a tone of gratitude and purpose. Ms. Sana Karim’s presentation highlighted significant achievements in quality improvement over the past year, showcasing how continuous efforts can lead to better healthcare outcomes.
Our Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Jahan Ara Hassan, delivered an inspiring address, reinforcing the critical role of quality in transforming healthcare systems. A dynamic panel discussion followed, where experts delved into the challenges and opportunities in advancing healthcare quality, providing thought-provoking insights for the future.
To celebrate innovation, the Best Quality Idea Initiative recognized creative ideas that drive progress, with winners and runners-up announced amid cheers. Esteemed panelists and judges were also honored with shields as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
The celebration concluded on a joyous note with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking our shared journey towards delivering better, safer, and more efficient healthcare.
