About DIMC
Established in 2007, Dow International Medical College (DIMC) is an integral part of Dow University of Health Sciences. Admitting 150 MBBS students annually, DIMC prioritizes providing medical education to the children of overseas Pakistanis worldwide. With a spirally integrated modular curriculum in place since 2009, DIMC is recognized in the WHO directory and International Medical Education Directory (IMED-FAIMER).
DIMC’s history unfolds with its inception in 2007, offering a dynamic platform within Dow University of Health Sciences. Boasting a 200,000 sq. ft. modern facility, DIMC includes essential features such as labs, an Anatomy and Forensic Museum, Dow Animal House, a skill lab, and a Professional Development Centre. Affiliated with Dow University Hospital and Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases, DIMC has evolved into a hub for integrated modular training in various disciplines. Diagnostic and Research Facilities, along with the institutes for Liver & Gastrointestinal Diseases and Diabetes and Endocrinology, underscore DIMC’s commitment to education and healthcare services.
