The Department of Oral Biology at Dow International Dental College, DUHS, deals with studying the anatomy, histology and morphology of oral tissues, within oral cavity including teeth, gums, oral mucosa, salivary glands and periodontal structures. The subject is one of the main pillars of Dentistry taught as an essential component in The first year of dentistry comprises lectures, tutorials and practical’s. The oral biology lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to cater to students as per PMDC guidelines including microscopes, histological slides, study models and a departmental library. Students are accessed on a timely basis via presentations, class tests and assignments.
