About the Masters in Nursing at DIONM
Masters in Nursing (MSN) is a 2 years full time study program started in 2010. Thirteenth (13th) Batch of MSN program is being inducted this year.
The MSN program is designed to equip nursing professionals to plan care within the context of holistic health management through integration of advance knowledge from the concepts of pathophysiology, pharmacology and health assessment in their nursing practice.
With an emphasis on research work, the program facilitates the students to enable them for refining their knowledge and skills at advance level in the areas of cardiology, pediatrics and women health for meeting the health and social care needs of patients and community.
Oversight of research and the academic program is carried out by university bodies including the Scientific Committee, Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), and Institutional Review Board (IRB). So far, 96 students have graduated from DUHS and are placed in key positions at renowned national and international institutions.
