Founded in 2006 within Dow University of Health Sciences, Dow Institute of Nursing and Midwifery aims to produce top-notch healthcare professionals. Led by the Vice-Chancellor, a task force of nursing experts and experienced teachers played a vital role in its establishment. The institute provides an optimal learning environment at DUHS’s Ojha campus.
Established in December 2003, DUHS initiated the Dow Institute of Nursing and Midwifery with support from the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC). The foundation stone was laid on June 3rd, 2006, with Prof. Atta Ur Rehman, Advisor to the Federal Government, and Chairman of the Higher Education Commission as the Chief Guest. Completed in two years, the project addresses the shortage of skilled nurses by delivering quality education and practical training.
