The Dow Institute for Advanced Biological and Animal Research (DIABAR) is thrilled to announce the inauguration of its new facility, the Plasma Collection and Processing Laboratory (PCPL), a leading BMS-based Basic Biological Manufacturing Facility in the country. The inauguration took place on Friday, December 20th, 2024, at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Ojha Campus, with Dr. Azra Pechuho, Minister of Health and Population welfare, Government of Sindh, presiding over the ceremony. This achievement reflects DUHS’s dedication to advancing scientific research, promoting sustainability, and contributing to societal well-being through excellence in innovation and development.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I (Vice Chancellor, DUHS), Dr. Talat Roome (Director, DIABAR) and Mr. Abdul Rahim Khan (Director, Works & Services) for their exceptional leadership and efforts in bringing this vision to fruition. The entire scientific commitment and struggle to build up our new PCPL laboratory has been accomplished by the DIABAR team.
