About the PhD in Molecular Medicine
Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) offers postgraduate education through the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS). Oversight of research and the academic program is carried out by university bodies including the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), Institutional (ethical) Review Board (IRB), Doctoral Admission Committee, and other similar entities. Currently, over 180 M.Phil and PhD students have graduated from DUHS and are holding key positions at esteemed national and international
institutions.
DUHS now introduces a Ph.D. program in Molecular Medicine, an expanding, interdisciplinary field within biomedical research. The program’s primary goal is to accelerate the development of novel diagnostic methods and therapies through a collaborative bench- to-bedside approach. The program encompasses various research areas in Molecular Medicine, including Molecular and Cellular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, Molecular Oncology, Molecular Pathophysiology and Molecular Pharmacology and Drug Discovery.
The Ph.D. program in Molecular Medicine is designed to equip researchers and clinicians with a profound understanding of biology, enabling them to explore the
molecular underpinnings of diseases and create innovative diagnostics and therapeutics tailored to individual needs.
