Dow Institute for Advanced Biological & Animal Research (DIABAR) organized a three-day Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) workshop at DUHS Ojha Campus, led by Mr. Khalid Latif from Optimum Advisory. The program featured onsite gap assessments, audits, and insightful lectures on biosafety, risk mitigation strategies, behavioral safety, workplace hazards, mental health, and regulatory compliance. The entire activity was successfully conducted with the expert assistance of DIABAR’s competent staff, including Dr. Midhat Batool, Dr. Syeda Durr-e-Shahwar, Dr. Syed Khurram Fareed, Dr. Salma Mirza, Dr. Sehrish Batool, Dr. Farah Aslam, Dr. Atia Gohar, Ms. Nida Rehman and, Ms. Naila Sheraz ensuring efficiency, compliance, and best practices throughout the process.
DIABAR team is actively identifying and addressing critical gaps to achieve the biosafety license for safe and regulated operations. With a strong focus on compliance and safety, the DIABAR team remains dedicated to fulfilling its mission of upholding the highest international biosafety standards.
