The Department of Dermatology, DIMC, held an extremely interactive academic session on the 25th of February, 2025, on ” FIGHTING CUTANEOUS FUNGAL INFECTIONS” upon high demand and interest.
The activity was aimed to engage interactive discussions and knowledge sharing among faculty and trainees on the use of different antifungals, how they work, the treatment protocols, and the possible reasons for increasing resistance in Superficial fungal infections.
Dr Sadaf Ahmed ( HOD Derma) led the event as the main program director, along with Dr Tayyaba Iqbal(assistant professor)
covering all academic queries and resulting in an overwhelming response, supplemented by simplified teaching for easy understanding, followed by an interactive quiz session.
Lots of appreciation and requests for further academic activities of the kind in the future were garnered from participants.
