The Department of Operative Dentistry, Dow International Dental College organized a combined Task-Oriented Assessment of Clinical Skills (TOACS) examination for Year 1 & 2 FCPS postgraduate trainees in Operative Dentistry & Endodontics from DIDC & Dow Dental College on Thursday, 30th January 2025.
This exam aimed to enhance trainees’ preparation for their upcoming IMM examination at CPSP. It featured 11 fully structured TOACS stations, divided into two groups, conducted in a phantom head laboratory and OPD, followed by a structured long case exam.
The exam was organized by the Operative Dentistry Department, DIDC, led by Prof. Farah Naz with the support of the Principal, DIDC. The event included renowned external examiners, such as:

– Prof. Hina Ahmed (ZMU)
– Dr. Fahad Umer (AKUH)
– Dr. Samira Adnan (JSMU)
Their valuable feedback provided candidates with critical insights and guidance to enhance their learning and exam performance.
