Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) recently participated in an insightful training on Leadership Development in Academia, organized by the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) from 31st December 2024 to 2nd January 2025.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Secretary, Sindh HEC, for arranging this valuable training. Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I, Honorable Vice Chancellor of DUHS nominated Dr. Asima Faisal, Director of Institute of Business and Health Management (IBHM), to take part in this developmental activity.
The program covered important topics such as Budgeting, Procurement, Audit Paras, Statutory Bodies, and revenue generation through research commercialization. The knowledge and insights gained will significantly contribute to professional growth and academic pursuits.
Our appreciation also extends to the Director and Deputy Director of SHEC for their invaluable support and cooperation throughout the program. Their dedication and effort have been key to the program’s success.
Furthermore, we thank Dr. Saif ur Rahman, Director General of NIPA, for providing a supportive academic environment and unwavering assistance. Being part of the NIPA alumni network is an honor for DUHS.
