The third Hult Prize event took place on December 7th, 2024, in DCoB Lecture Hall 1 from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The session, a Mentor Training Program, was attended by successful startups and entrepreneurs from DUHS, who provided one-on-one mentoring to students.
The session offered attendees valuable insights on creating successful prototypes, understanding key dos and don’ts, and learning how to pitch ideas effectively. A panel discussion was held at the end, aimed at inspiring students and boosting their confidence to participate in the Hult Prize competition. To further engage participants and help break the ice, a pitching challenge was organized as an activity to build confidence and encourage attendees to begin thinking critically about how to present their ideas.
Nearly 100 students from various departments, including Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Business Health, and Public Health Sciences, participated in the event. This session benefited attendees by providing personalized guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, clearing up any doubts about the competition, and equipping them with practical knowledge for refining their ideas. Students were also able to develop their pitching skills and receive valuable feedback, which will play a crucial role in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Excitement is building as students continue their journey toward the competition, with much anticipation surrounding the innovative ideas that will emerge.
