A highly successful academic session on “Clinical Pearls of Acne” was conducted by the Department of Dermatology, DIMC, on Friday, December 6th, 2024, in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists. This session marked the fourth in a series of GP/MO teaching initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and equipping primary healthcare workers to effectively recognize and treat acne, ultimately benefiting patients.
The event featured an engaging and interactive lecture series presented by:
-Dr. Sadaf Ahmed Asim (HOD Dermatology, DIMC)
-Prof. Atiya Rahman (HOD Dermatology, PNS Shifa)
-Dr. Shaheen Naveed (Assistant Professor, Dermatology, AKU)
These distinguished speakers addressed academic queries comprehensively, garnering an overwhelming response and positive feedback from participants, who represented various regions of Sindh and Balochistan.
The session was graced by Dr. Naeem Iqbal, Dr. Naveed Ali, and Dr. Javed Ahmed Memon, who attended as Guests of Honor. Their valuable experiences further enriched the discussions and enhanced the overall learning experience.
