Overview
At Dow University of Health Sciences, we are committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These 17 interconnected goals aim to address global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. Our university recognizes the vital role that education and research play in achieving these goals and is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices within our community.
YoUNGs at DUHS
The Youth Universities Network on Sustainable Development Goals (YoUNGs) was launched in January 2023 to involve academia in the SDGs engagement by the Pakistan Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. The students from various constituent institutes/colleges/schools of Dow University of Health Sciences were selected as student ambassadors to represent each of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
