This is again very important department and its OPD deals with patients for different surgical procedures like simple tooth extraction, complicated tooth extraction, oral ulceration, oral sub- mucous fibrosis, TMJ dislocations, tumors, and oral cancers. It also deals with jaw trauma and RTA. The submucous fibrosis and oral cancers are one of the biggest challenges because of the extensive usage of different forms of Betel Nuts, Tobacco, Paan Chalia, Guttka in our part of the world.

This department OPD deals with taking panoramic view x-rays called OPG, and Lateral Cephalometric views. In addition to this periapical and bitewing radiographs are also taken in routine in the department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. The facility of CBCT is also available at our Johar Campus. The overall responsibility of the radiology is taken care by a radiologist and supervised by department of Orthodontics.
