The Dermatology Department at Dow International Medical College (DIMC) successfully conducted a psoriasis awareness session on Friday, September 6, 2024. The session was organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists.
This was the first session in a series of GP/MO teaching activities designed to increase awareness of psoriasis among primary healthcare workers and equip them with the knowledge and skills to recognize and treat the condition effectively. Over 60 participants attended the session.
A series of interactive lectures was presented by:
• Dr. Sadaf Ahmed Asim: Head of the Dermatology Department, DIMC
• Professor Humaira Maryum: Head of the Dermatology Department, FRPMC
• Dr. Madiha Sajid: Assistant Professor of Dermatology, DIMC
The CME session was meticulously planned, with the facilitators demonstrating a deep understanding of the topic. The lectures covered all aspects of psoriasis, including diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and management.
