On the evening of July 27th, Dow International Dental College hosted a prestigious appreciation and recognition award ceremony, tilted “DIDC Shining Stars.” The event was held in the picturesque surroundings of the Defence campus, reflecting its beauty and tranquility.
The ceremony was designed to honor and celebrate the remarkable achievements of both students and faculty. Awards, certificates, medals, and cash prizes were presented to those who excelled in national and international competitions, as well as to individuals who distinguished themselves in research, quizzes, video making, and academic excellence.
Esteemed guests included Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I, Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences, and Dr. Ashar Afaq, the Registrar. The event was attended by senior and junior faculty members, alongside participants from various events. Prof. Dr. Amynah, Principal of Dow International Dental College, warmly welcomed the guests and provided insights into the ceremony’s processes. Prof. Dr. Farah Naz, Head of the Operative Dentistry Department, elaborated on the college’s notable achievements over recent years.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards by Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I to the deserving recipients. The event concluded with Vice Principal Dr. Qaiser Ali Baig delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks.
