On May 27th, 2024, the Emergency Medicine Department at the Trauma Center of Dow University Hospital celebrated World Emergency Day. The event was led by the dynamic Head of the Department, Dr. Ayesha Abbasi, alongside Senior Manager Dr. Mumtaz Ali Baloch.
The ceremony saw the participation of all emergency department personnel, including doctors, nursing staff, administrative staff, unit receptionists, security staff, housekeeping, and porters. Their dedication to patient care was acknowledged and praised.
During the event, the Emergency Medicine Department expressed their gratitude to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr Jahan Ara Hassan for their support and motivation. Their prompt resolution of issues within the department has been crucial in enabling the team to provide exceptional care to patients.
Distinguished guests, including Dr. Saima Hussain, Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS); Dr. Mahafroze, Services Manager; Ms. Sumaira Essani, Senior Manager Administration; and Ms. Monia Zeeshan, Deputy Director of Nursing Department, joined in the festivities.
