Dow International Dental College (DIDC) held an awarding ceremony on May 22, 2023, organized by Principal DIDC Prof. Dr. Amynah Charania Shaikh, at the DIDC conference room in the OPD block building.
The Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC) team present at the ceremony included SHCC CEO Dr. Ahson Qavi Siddiqi, Director of Licensing & Accreditation Dr. Altaf Hussain Khawaja, Director of Licensing & Accreditation Dr. Zubair Ahmed Soomro, Director of Licensing & Accreditation Dr. Raja Fahim, Director of Licensing & Accreditation Dr. Kalsoom Nargis, and Director of Licensing & Accreditation Dr. Mansoor Manzoor Bhutto.
The prestigious regular license was awarded to Dow International Dental College in recognition of its compliance with stringent quality standards and a thorough inspection process set by the Sindh Healthcare Commission. It is the second public sector health facility in Sindh to be awarded a regular license.
During the ceremony, Sindh Healthcare Commission CEO Dr. Ahson Qavi Siddiqi mentioned that the license is based on several service quality standards and a rigorous inspection process of different service standards. He further emphasized that “quality is an ongoing process, which involves exceeding patient expectations by constantly raising the bar and improving existing operations.”
